Sincere thanks for taking the time to view examples of my work!
I alone have produced all the content with minimal assistance; from the branding, art direction & website itself, storyboarding, shooting & editing promotional films and photoshoots to designing, producing & shooting the garments themselves.
I Produced this 30-second TVC promo during my Promo Producer internship & employment within the Ingest department at Channel 7, which aired nationwide on 7Two:
My current obsession is motorbikes, and I my most recent personal film projects mostly involve editing together clips of motorbike rides and GoPro footage:
My most recent film showreel can be seen below:
My previous showreel, containing more personal projects, can also be seen below:
I was part of the official Media “AAA” crew shooting the two most recent Subsonic music & camping festivals, contributing content for the official Event films and promo pieces. The festival runs over 3 days & nights in early December; I have also assisted the Editing of ongoing content pieces & artist focuses for the client’s social media. The Official Event films from the 2015 & 2016 festivals followed by a social media promo clip can be seen below:
Over the course of 2015 I completed the Diploma of Screen & Media at St. Leonard’s TAFE.
During the Diploma I Directed the following Anti-Domestic Violence TVC, entitling it ‘#STOPTHEVIOLENCE‘ to show solidarity behind a trending hashtag:
And I also undertook an After Effects VFX elective, and produced, shot & edited the following Michael Bay-inspired short film ‘BAY’D‘ whilst learning After Effects itself for the first time:
This website is part of my project streetwear label SBLA, of which I am the sole owner/operator.
The direction & story behind the label can be best explained visually through it’s debut film ‘From Then, ‘Till Forever’:
I have also conceptualised, directed, shot & edited several band film clips:
Corpus – ‘We Ache Together’
Corpus – ‘Torrents’
Corpus – ‘Divine Divinity’
I love travelling and my last holiday was a four-week holiday to Japan. I returned with over 70gigs of stills and video content, and a few examples of the stills can be found in the “Gallery” section, or here, here & here.
I enjoy making short films and try to regularly keep a film or photography project in the works at all times, so that I keep actively engaged with the process & create new problems to find solutions for. Other short films I have created can be further explored on the ‘film‘ page. One such example is quick edits using helmet cam footage from weekend motorcycle rides:
Several years ago (2010) I participated in an online competition run by the active/outdoor brand Oakley. Multiple videos had to be created on different topics (challenges, answering questions etc) and then social media utilised to earn likes and votes, with the aim of winning a one-year full time online marketing job with paid accommodation in Melbourne. I took it very seriously and even went so far as to have the Oakley logo sky-written and I progressed through all the rounds until the final 5, being flown to Melbourne for the winners announcement ceremony. I unfortunately did not win, but the now-embarassing videos can be seen below:
Video #2 Bloopers:
As mentioned above, further examples of my work can be found across the SBLA website.
